Rabbit - Comments

From LoveToKnow 1911

The rabbit has six teeth to bite and chew long grass whereas the typical rodent has only four teeth so the term rodent when refering to the rabbit is incorrect.

Indeed, the reference to a rabbit as a rodent is entirely incorrect. The rabbit and also its cousin the hare are a special group of mammals called Lagomorphs. Not to be confused with rodents, which is a common misconception.
