The Moors were only considered Europeans once they conquered most of Europe and brought the continent out of the dark ages. The Moors were dark skinned people from Africa; what other proof do you need? People need to take credit for their own nation's accomplishments and not others. Then again, all things on this earth were created by GOD and the Human Race. Some things for the benefit and others to destroy us. So what we need to do is learn to Love instead of hate and the Moors are back to teach the world love. Ex. A Moor=Amor(Love in spanish),Amore(Love in Italian). See any connections? Parts of Spain and Italy were once ruled by MOORS. Seems to me that while the Moors were in power, every viewed them as rulers that demonstrated Love everywhere they went; hence the words Amor&Amore. Ever since the Moors were conquered and enslaved the world has been in chaos, because the True leaders are not in their rightful position.

Your etymological idea is incorrect - 'amor' and 'amore' have nothing to do with the Moors, but are derived from the Latin 'amare' (to love). And in Roman times the Moors were not called 'Mara' or some such, but 'Africans' or 'Mauretanians'. - Engels 03:07, 15 Sep 2006 (PDT)
