Lysistratus

LYSISTRATUS, a Greek sculptor of the 4th century B.C.,, brother of Lysippus of Sicyon. We are told by Pliny (Nat. Hist. 35, 1 53) that he followed a strongly realistic line, being the first sculptor to take impressions of human faces in plaster.
