EBINGEN, a town of Germany, in the kingdom of Wurttemberg, on the Schmiecha, a left-hand tributary of the Danube, 22 m. S. of Tubingen and 37 m. W. of Ulm by rail. It manufactures velvet and cotton-velvet ("Manchester") goods, stockings, stays, hats, needles, tools, &c. There are also tanneries. Pop. 9000.
